After some careless play in the DOROSTOL Ss defense, Gerard Boschker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Sivchev. The DOROSTOL Ss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Sivchev should have stopped the shot. Pieter Beuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilcho Shtilyanov in the 43rd minute of the match. Adalbert Netzov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilcho Shtilyanov to make the kick off. Gabriel Sivchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harm Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Dries Muskee hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Ilcho Shtilyanov came free, but Pieter Beuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Sivchev was a little too slow when Harm Meyer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-4. With a little luck, DOROSTOL Ss's Gabriel Sivchev got control of the ball when Harm Meyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by DOROSTOL Ss's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joost Blom was slow to take the kick. During this time Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's players had a chance to rest. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
