With a little luck, DARAS's Dobrin Beremov got control of the ball when Arnout Henderickx tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boncho Zhilev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Frederik Van Geel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Boncho Zhilev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederik Van Geel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Boncho Zhilev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Frederik Van Geel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of DARAS booed when New York Giants was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armand Hemelaers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, DARAS's Boncho Zhilev made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederik Van Geel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 33 played minutes New York Giants got a freekick which was hit by Armand Hemelaers. 33 minutes into the match, DARAS's Boncho Zhilev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frederik Van Geel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Nano Mitrashkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. DARAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nano Mitrashkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Van Geel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frederik Van Geel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boncho Zhilev in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Boncho Zhilev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Van Geel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeroen Loos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Boncho Zhilev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New York Giants's Frederik Van Geel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeroen Loos kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Toni Nenchev notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of New York Giants's Frederik Van Geel. Frederik Van Geel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Volodya Biradzhiev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rumen Dzhananov to maneuver through the defense. DARAS made a substitution. Gergin Bogoev replaced Volodya Biradzhiev. Rumen Dzhananov kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boncho Zhilev in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederik Van Geel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frederik Van Geel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rumen Dzhananov in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Jeroen Loos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeroen Loos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded DARAS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New York Giants.
