Winthont FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Fujara in the 10th minute. The corner led to Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Billie Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Nesor in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Mathijs Grommers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winthont FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Draconia the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abilio Pages to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedric Van Cleijnenbreugel to maneuver through the defense. Igor Fujara struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Billie Serneels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paco Fernandez-Solino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liu Ming Jian made a kick off. Dennis Beerthuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Moerman in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Nesor came free, but Billie Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijs Grommers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascal Zalm scored 0-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billie Serneels, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Billie Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Zalm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascal Zalm got free with Billie Serneels in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billie Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Zalm in the 83rd minute of the match. Billie Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc van Nistelrooij in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geert Arend Roodenburg during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Winthont FC! Dennis Beerthuis had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Franck Rutgeerts's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 91st minute, Pascal Zalm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billie Serneels was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After some careless play in the FC Draconia defense, Pascal Zalm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billie Serneels. The FC Draconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billie Serneels should have stopped the shot. FC Draconia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Pascal Zalm scored to the left of an out of position Billie Serneels, making the score, 0-6. Winthont FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
