Enéas Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Ernesto Ramalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Iuri Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Enéas Arantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dedé de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Enéas Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Gotfryd in the 19th minute of the match. The Resplendor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Arantes should have stopped the shot. Resplendor's Enéas Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Resplendor from getting a goal against them. Enéas Arantes was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Lauro de Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lauro de Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Witold Gotfryd was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Gotfryd was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Gotfryd came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7-0 became the score in the 51st minute when Witold Gotfryd elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Witold Gotfryd took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enéas Arantes. Enéas Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 58 minutes into the match, Resplendor's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Messias came free, but Enéas Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Gotfryd, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Witold Gotfryd scored 9-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enéas Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, Witold Gotfryd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Arantes. Resplendor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Gotfryd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. After 95 minutes of play, ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s Witold Gotfryd made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enéas Arantes was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣ had played much better football throughout.
