Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Salgado started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Salgado in the 3rd minute of play forced Lencois's goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes, Horizonte's Mathias Hermes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sidnei Mendonça came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horizonte reached it. Matías Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sidnei Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Lencois's Daniel Salgado made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clóvis Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Daniel Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Salgado in the 19th minute of play forced Horizonte's goalkeeper Clóvis Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Diego Salgado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sidnei Mendonça. The goal made the score 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Gilmar Tróia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidnei Mendonça, 2-1. After 29 played minutes Horizonte got a freekick which was hit by Gilmar Tróia. After 30 played minutes Lencois got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Severo. Sidnei Mendonça was a little too slow when Matías Recife got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-1. Sidnei Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Recife in the 39th minute of the match. Horizonte's Clóvis Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Salgado in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Lencois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidnei Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Salgado in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, Horizonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Roberto Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidnei Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 80 minutes of play, Horizonte's Diego Salgado made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidnei Mendonça was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Daniel Salgado in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Horizonte's Romário Grealish. Clóvis Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sidnei Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horizonte's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
