In the 16th minute, Henrique Madureira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clóvis Machado. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 19th minute Diego Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Salgado in the 21st minute of play forced MindHunter City's goalkeeper Jonas Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Machado made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Henrique Madureira sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Madureira was the one to do the kick off. Horizonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Matías Recife took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Jonas Vander to make any attempt to save it. In the 72nd minute Matías Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Vander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matías Recife showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romário Rosado during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
