Falcão Favoretto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Cupial went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Cupial in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Favoretto saved Pacui from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Cupial in the 17th minute of play forced Pacui's goalkeeper Falcão Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Falcão Favoretto having to make a save. Zbyszko Cupial scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Favoretto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zbyszko Cupial might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Falcão Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Falcão Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Nyberg in the 28th minute of the match. Canastro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Nyberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Pacui players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Canastro FC were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbyszko Cupial to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Raphael Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszko Cupial took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falcão Favoretto. Falcão Favoretto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Severino Velasco with Teodoro Garcia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 65th match minute, Canastro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Miheev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Garcia in the 67th minute of play. Severino Velasco hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Zbyszko Cupial who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pacui's Falcão Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pacui's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Zbyszko Cupial scored to the left of an out of position Falcão Favoretto, making the score, 0-8. A collision led to Pacui getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Flavinho de Mendonça hit a great ball. When Zbyszko Cupial came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Canastro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Cupial couldn't finish the play. Falcão Favoretto was a little too slow when Zbyszko Cupial got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Staffan Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canastro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Staffan Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Valter Abreu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute, Zbyszko Cupial ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Favoretto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. In the 98th match minute, Pacui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Souza to maneuver through the defense.
