Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Lupere FC - DMZ's Cláudio Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Paiva in the 3rd minute of play. Agostinho Santana came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Lupere FC - DMZ's Ismael Furlan. But to his dismay, Ismael Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Furlan in the 7th minute of play. Lupere FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erivaldo Félix in the 8th minute. A hard shot 12 in the game by Ismael Furlan from a close distance when the talented Agostinho Santana managed to make a qualified save. Litoral EC - CIMZ's players were relieved. Ismael Furlans short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Agostinho Santana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Agostinho Santana stood somewhat misplaced when Ismael Furlan came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. When Lupere FC - DMZ's Ismael Furlan in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's attentive Erivaldo Félix managed to snatch the ball when Humberto Meireles made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Carlos Augusto Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Ismael Furlan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Erivaldo Félix almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana did a great save. Humberto Meireles made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lupere FC - DMZ's Sandro Pontes. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Litoral EC - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Lupere FC - DMZ's Ismael Furlan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. In the 44th match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Ismael Furlan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Agostinho Santana. Ismael Furlan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto Paiva was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Lupere FC - DMZ's Ismael Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agostinho Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The supporters of Lupere FC - DMZ booed when Litoral EC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agostinho Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Furlan in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Lupere FC - DMZ got a corner. Litoral EC - CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erivaldo Félix ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lupere FC - DMZ's Erivaldo Félix was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agostinho Santana in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Agostinho Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Furlan in the 65th minute of play. Ismael Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Furlan came free, but Agostinho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Humberto Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lupere FC - DMZ's Pio Piovezan was substituted for Sven-Arne Sandell. After 74 played minutes Litoral EC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Meireles. In the 75th minute Ismael Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Litoral EC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Furlan came free, but Agostinho Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Litoral EC - CIMZ defense, Ismael Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agostinho Santana. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agostinho Santana should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Litoral EC - CIMZ's zone, Ismael Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agostinho Santana came out of the goal and Ismael Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Litoral EC - CIMZ's Rubinho Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agostinho Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Furlan in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Erivaldo Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Furlan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Agostinho Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. 93 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's Ismael Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agostinho Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto De Tommasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
