Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Pesqueira City's Ronaldo Guimarães started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ronaldo Guimarães sped through Brasília FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adhemar Corrêa. In the 19th minute, Luiz Eduardo Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 23 played minutes Brasília FC got a freekick which was hit by Betão Sena. A collision led to Brasília FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Betão Sena hit a great ball. Adhemar Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Bebeto Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Adhemar Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Guimarães in the 30th minute of the match. After 33rd play minutes Ronaldo Guimarães shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Adhemar Corrêa and just under the crossbar into goal. Adhemar Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Pesqueira City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Brasília FC's Adhemar Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Guimarães in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 54 minutes, Ronaldo Guimarães made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Brasília FC's Adhemar Corrêa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's Silas de Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adhemar Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bebeto Mendes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adhemar Corrêa came out and tried to block the shot, but Bebeto Mendes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 60th minute. Rômulo de Queirós hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Reginaldo Soeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enéas Borges skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Silas de Sousa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adhemar Corrêa. Silas de Sousa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When Pesqueira City's Silas de Sousa in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brasília FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ronaldo Guimarães came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adhemar Corrêa could save by the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Allan Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brasília FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Zonta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enéas Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Zonta in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, Brasília FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Senna to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Guimarães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adhemar Corrêa, 0-9. Pesqueira City played a much better game than Brasília FC and deserved their victory. The Brasília FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
