Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dedé Zilles started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horácio Simão made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleandro Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Descalvados defense, Horácio Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleandro Mesquita. The Descalvados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleandro Mesquita should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Horácio Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleandro Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Alagoano in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristóvão de Mendonça during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristóvão de Mendonça hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dedé Zilles took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Mauro de Salles to make any attempt to save it. César Alagoano took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleandro Mesquita. Aleandro Mesquita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mauro de Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer de Azevedo in the 29th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleandro Mesquita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aleandro Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Simão in the 42nd minute of the match. If César Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleandro Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Telmo Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Aleandro Mesquita. Descalvados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. César Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Aleandro Mesquita came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Horácio Simão. But to his dismay, Horácio Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Aleandro Mesquita came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's César Alagoano. But to his dismay, César Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. With a little luck, Descalvados's Aleandro Mesquita got control of the ball when César Alagoano tried to sneak it across the goal line. César Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Nova Iguaçu MZFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dito Velloso hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when César Alagoano got free with Aleandro Mesquita in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Daniel Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Aleandro Mesquita. Descalvados's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. In the 89th minute, Osvaldo Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Guerra. The Descalvados fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
