Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilmar Vieira started the match with the kick off. Felipe Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Prestes in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Raí Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jr Familia Campos FC and the Floripa Lions FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jr Familia Campos FC's Raí Donato got a free kick in the 5th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Carlos Quintal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Koehler. Jr Familia Campos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Quintal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Nilmar Vieira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sidnei Hermes. Nilmar Vieira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jr Familia Campos FC's Raí Donato got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Raí Donato off the ground. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jr Familia Campos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sílvio Luís Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time Floripa Lions FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. Sílvio Luís Prestes made a great header on Floripa Lions FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Jr Familia Campos FC's Felipe Koehler managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Sílvio Luís Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Paulo Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. Jr Familia Campos FC's Felipe Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Amaral in the 51st minute of play. Felipe Koehler made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Pedro Paulo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. Anísio da Cunha hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Fabrício Montenegro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Sidnei Hermes didn't even have to move. Carlos Quintal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 60 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo Fernandes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felipe Koehler, 1-5. João Paulo Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felipe Koehler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Paulo Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Paulo Fernandes in the 67th minute. The supporters of Jr Familia Campos FC booed when Floripa Lions FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anísio da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Carlos Quintal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Quintal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Koehler. That made the score 1-7 in the 90 minute of play. Nilmar Vieira hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Felipe Koehler was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Anísio da Cunha. In the 95th minute, Carlos Quintal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Felipe Koehler. The goal made the score 1-8. Floripa Lions FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
