Nicolas Arósio hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Zuera Never End MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Gomes came free, but Afonsinho Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonsinho Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lenílson Gomes went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Zuera Never End MZC's Edinho Dracena got a free kick in the 19th minute. Afonsinho Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenílson Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenílson Gomes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Trevisan in the 51st minute of the match. Rafael Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Zuera Never End MZC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Novaes. Afonsinho Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Gomes in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Jacinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karim Bado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Tony Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tony Sergipano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Zuera Never End MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sidnei do Nascimento took the corner. Afonsinho Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Gomes in the 71st minute of play. Tony Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Afonsinho Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Gomes in the 77th minute of the match. Lenílson Gomes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonsinho Sampaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Zuera Never End MZC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Anselmo Aguiar hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Sidnei do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonsinho Sampaio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rio Verde F.C CIMZ reached it. 89 minutes into the match, Lenílson Gomes notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Zuera Never End MZC's Afonsinho Sampaio. Afonsinho Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nelson de Salles made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Cássio Pimenta. When the final whistle sounded Rio Verde F.C CIMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zuera Never End MZC.
