Naci Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fernando Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naci Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Naci Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Uriel Oliveiro made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fernando Souza. U18 Cruzeiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute Naci Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the game José Vítor Neto made a throw-in which Raí Sá played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Naci Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Fantasma's supporters rose to their feet, but Naci Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jhon Rabelo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Uriel Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dé Melo made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Robinho Guerra immediately put the ball in play.
