The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Remedios SC were awarded a corner. Natanael Silveira went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Remedios SC's Natanael Silveira to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando Barral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Celsinho Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Barral was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 44 minutes into the game, Remedios SC's 楚庭潮 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Barbie Doll United U23 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 楚庭潮 made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Barbie Doll United U23's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Goiano came free, but Orlando Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barbie Doll United U23's zone, 楚庭潮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Barral came out of the goal and 楚庭潮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Remedios SC's Eliseu Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Celsinho Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Remedios SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celsinho Goiano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Arce in the 92nd minute of play forced Remedios SC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barbie Doll United U23 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Remedios SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Remedios SC.
