Despite this Jean Campidelis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. XV de Indaial's Jean Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Vinhas in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Hílton Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Augusto Fontes scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Campidelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jean Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Fernandez in the 16th minute of play. When Rodriguez Jaen fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XV de Indaial's protests and gave Rodriguez Jaen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rodriguez Jaen hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Sílvio Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geraldo Baptista to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Hílton Fernandez made a precise shot to the right of Jean Campidelis. XV de Indaial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dorian Machado made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Patrick Favoretto sent off a good shot on target. Mathias Pitta's late challenge caught a Locomotiva grena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Pitta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, XV de Indaial's Mathias Pitta got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 38 minutes XV de Indaial's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Paulo Paulista who took care of the corner kick. Patrick Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Machado having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hílton Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean Campidelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguez Jaen in the 52nd minute of play. If Hílton Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Fernandez in the 58th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Jean Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Patrick Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Indaial's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Campidelis was a little too slow when Hílton Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-3. Jean Campidelis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Locomotiva grena's Hílton Fernandez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Locomotiva grena played a much better game than XV de Indaial and deserved their victory. The XV de Indaial players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
