In the 8th minute, Bebeto Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cláudio Soares came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Betão Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Betão Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 14 minutes into the game, Capivara FC's Betão Pinheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 19 minutes into the game, Júnior Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Cláudio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute, Bebeto Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 31st minute of the match. Cláudio Soares came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Betão Pinheiro. The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Sarmento in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Soares saved Pratigipe EC from getting behind. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Sarmento in the 43rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho Souto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Soares saved Pratigipe EC from getting behind. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Pinheiro in the 45th minute of play. Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Cláudio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Souto in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Dantas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Pinheiro got free with Cláudio Soares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Capivara FC's Júnior Veloso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Soares. Cláudio Soares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. Cláudio Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Veloso in the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Betão Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. In the 75th minute, Celso Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Castro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Pratigipe EC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Capivara FC's Claudinho Souto got a free kick in the 79th minute. Celso Maranhense's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cláudio Soares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Júnior Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cláudio Soares. Pratigipe EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júnior Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. Cláudio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Capivara FC's Bebeto Sarmento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Cláudio Soares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betão Pinheiro in the 95th minute. The Pratigipe EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Capivara FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
