The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Luciano de Lima sped through ELO CRF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovânio Veloso. Geovânio Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Cunha went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute, Jeferson Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Geovânio Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano de Lima in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luisão Perez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Gilson Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Barral having to interfere. When Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luciano de Lima in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luciano de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Veloso having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Simão Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. Geovânio Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Cunha in the 55th minute of the match. Luciano de Lima in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovânio Veloso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in ELO CRF's zone, Jeferson Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Veloso came out of the goal and Jeferson Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Luciano de Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovânio Veloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Jeferson Cunha had several of the ELO CRF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Geovânio Veloso as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 72 minutes, Luciano de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when ELO CRF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maicon Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano de Lima made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 74thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Geovânio Veloso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maicon Coelho during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ELO CRF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Maicon Coelho hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jeferson Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovânio Veloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geovânio Veloso made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Luciano de Lima sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Maicon Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Jeferson Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovânio Veloso. The goal made the score 0-8. Vinícius Godoi hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tarrasque Voador F.C. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Luisão Perez hit a great ball. The supporters of ELO CRF booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Geovânio Veloso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Noel de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Geovânio Veloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano de Lima went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
