Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erling Haaland started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Harman to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Décio Marinho was a little too slow when Erling Haaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané de Lima to maneuver through the defense. ADM Taquaras's Décio Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ADM Taquaras from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Best Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Décio Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Gol in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Rubinho Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Carlos Lira got a free kick in the 40th minute. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Gol in the 41st minute of the match. Erling Haaland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Décio Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Michel Cannavaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo FSCMZ the free kick. Michel Cannavaro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Michel Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Bruninho Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Harman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Marinho. ADM Taquaras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Harman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Gol in the 57th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Décio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo FSCMZ's Bruninho Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Batistuta in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Michel Batistuta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo FSCMZ's zone, Michel Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruninho Montenegro came out of the goal and Michel Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Best Gol scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hernani Guedes's late challenge caught a ADM Taquaras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernani Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Haaland in the 76th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Décio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Carlos Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Michel Cannavaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Michel Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
