Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Sport Club the free kick. Túlio Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Edmundo Dracena fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Sport Club's protests and gave Edmundo Dracena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edmundo Dracena hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Salles in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weverton Pras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustão Trigo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Gürel Ergünay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percival Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's Wesley Sønck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percival Munhoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Percival Munhoz came out of the goal and Edmundo Dracena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
