An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogumil Dankowski in the 4th minute of play forced Barrenta SC's goalkeeper Edgar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Paulo José Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Ulisses da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match, Ulisses da Mata tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgar Trigo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. Jânio Lopez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, COURO COME FC's Lauro Guerra tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Maria Pontes was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 22 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Emirhan Sultani. Edgar Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogumil Dankowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Álvaro Neiva to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Azevedo in the 28th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Thomás Braga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Júlio do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogumil Dankowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Edgar Trigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulo José Azevedo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Maria Pontes. José Maria Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The COURO COME FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barrenta SC were winning 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fábio Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jânio Lopez hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Lima in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Pontes saved COURO COME FC from getting behind. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barrenta SC! Edgar Trigo had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Bogumil Dankowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Barrenta SC's Hugo Gerber was substituted for Luiz Fábio Lima. In the 65th minute of the match COURO COME FC got a corner. Barrenta SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lauro Guerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lauro Guerra made a great header on COURO COME FC's corner, it was just that Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Damião in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the game, one of COURO COME FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ulisses da Mata hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Mário Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Damião in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Júlio do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COURO COME FC and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses da Mata in the 88th minute of the match. José Maria Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Damião in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's Emirhan Sultani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Trigo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Emirhan Sultani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Trigo was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. If Emirhan Sultani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goalkeeper José Maria Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Gerber. When the final whistle sounded Barrenta SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than COURO COME FC.
