In the 5th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mané Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by WAU team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarbas da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Xapetuba Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Paraíba in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Amauri de Lima got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Jorginho Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felippe Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhemar Hermes got free with Célio do Valle in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Célio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Laerte Ramalho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráusio Siqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Xapetuba Futebol Clube booed when WAU team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhemar Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Neiva came free, but Dráusio Siqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Ramalho to make the kick off. Cauan Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Jarbas da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Xapetuba Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas da Silveira couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Laerte Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidnei Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Célio do Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Xapetuba Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Vidal. 66 minutes into the match, Diamantino Freitas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle. Célio do Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Célio do Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Hermes went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Amauri de Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráusio Siqueira. That made the score 3-3 in the 82 minute of play. In the 87th minute, José Vítor Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 89 in the game by Patrick Neiva from a close distance when the talented Dráusio Siqueira managed to make a qualified save. WAU team's players were relieved. Xapetuba Futebol Clube's Célio do Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidnei Pereira in the 90th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, WAU team's Sidnei Pereira made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Célio do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 played minutes WAU team got a freekick which was hit by Renan Fantini. 96 minutes into the match, WAU team's goalkeeper Dráusio Siqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Neiva. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. WAU team had won after a very even match.
