When Almir Pena came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the RØSANEGRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almir Pena couldn't finish the play. Nils Bengtssons short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Willian Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mundial EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Will de Backer in the 15th minute. Mundial EC's Will de Backer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Willian Cordeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Raphael Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almir Pena went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Raphael Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Romeu Sá hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Amílton Munhozs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Willian Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by RØSANEGRA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Will de Backer was slow to take the kick. During this time Mundial EC's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Balada got free with Willian Cordeiro in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willian Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Almir Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Munhoz to make the kick off. Tadeo Evarado hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes RØSANEGRA got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Evarado. Mundial EC were furious when Will de Backer was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Mundial EC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Will de Backer hit a great ball. 57 minutes in the game Kaká Favoretto got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 58th match minute, RØSANEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Şehzade Tecer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almir Pena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Oscar Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raphael Penha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Oscar Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. Mundial EC made a substitution. Belmiro Pontes replaced Léo Chaves. In the 77th minute, Alessandro de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, RØSANEGRA's goal looked a bit too open when André Balada came free, but Willian Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mundial EC's Raphael Penha got control of the ball when Oscar Magalhães tried to sneak it across the goal line. RØSANEGRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Magalhães got free with Raphael Penha in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
