Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Cruz in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi got control of the ball when Arsenio Erico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Erico, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's zone, Dráuzio Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal and Dráuzio Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Gong Fan suffered a fractured collar bone after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arsenio Erico charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Erico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Erico kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Arsenio Erico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Arthur Bufi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Edgard Borges with Dorival Barral as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pedrinho Hoffmann took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Bufi. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Erico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arsenio Erico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 54th minute of the match. Atlético-PR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dorival Barral in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Márcio Cruz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arthur Bufi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Arsenio Erico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Bufi was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When Atlético-PR's Márcio Cruz in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yang Ke Xun in the 79th minute of play. Atlético-PR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
