In the 16th minute, Luizão Loureiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rogério Pinho. The goal made the score 1-1. Olympique Deleon's attentive Gennaro Gattuso managed to snatch the ball when Guilherme Rauh made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Olympique Deleon's Rogério Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizão Loureiro in the 23rd minute of play. Rogério Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
