Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Salvino started the match with the kick off. Clemente Peli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Sindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Quiroga in the 15th minute of play. Carmelo Uhin struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Amadeo Vincent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guiñazú FC. After 20 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Christian Guillelmo. Amadeo Vincent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Salvino in the 21st minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Efrain Sindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Clemente Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Quiroga came free, but Clemente Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Amadeo Vincent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Salvino. If Carmelo Uhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Sindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dalmacio Sazon hit a great ball. Hector Gizon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Felipe Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Sindo in the 70th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Felipe Salvino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Martin de Tucuman's Amadeo Vincent. Amadeo Vincent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
