Ciro Silban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Inocente. UPAU FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Herminio Guifre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 58th match minute, UPAU FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Baumer to maneuver through the defense. UPAU FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
