Cleto Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taci Argün in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Carlos Erramu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cleto Maxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Liquid Spirit getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Freddy Arias hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Gavino Rami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cleto Maxin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Liquid Spirit's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Erramu came free, but Cleto Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Taci Argün came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Club Atlético Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taci Argün couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Taci Argün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taci Argün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Club Atlético Magallanes a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Taci Argün, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Liquid Spirit's Cleto Maxin. 0-4. Reynaldo Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Mero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Colas firmly grabbed it by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Guillermo Colas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Mero. Americo Mero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Guillermo Colas made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Gavino Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Liquid Spirit's Fabian Tiniebra got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Erramu was the one to do the kick off. Taci Argün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cleto Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Erramu in the 53rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Cleto Maxin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Taci Argün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taci Argün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Maxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Cleto Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Erramu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Guillermo Colas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Taci Argün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gavino Rami kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Paulo Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Colas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Magallanes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Tiniebra was slow to take the kick. During this time Liquid Spirit's players had a chance to rest. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Mero came free, but Guillermo Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Taci Argün notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Liquid Spirit's Cleto Maxin. Cleto Maxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Breogan. Carlos Erramu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cleto Maxin came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Erramu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Carlos Erramu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleto Maxin, 0-7. Carlos Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes of play, Club Atlético Magallanes's Gavino Rami made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Maxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the game, Taci Argün recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cleto Maxin. Taci Argün showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9.
