Vicente Ruisko's late challenge caught a La Pantera Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto Acosta scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pascual Prejun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beto Acosta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Vicente Ruisko sped through La Pantera Azulgrana's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arturo Cordera. Vicente Ruisko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Italia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Arturo Cordera was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Vicente Ruisko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Ruisko really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. La Pantera Azulgrana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Vicente Ruisko scored to the left of an out of position Arturo Cordera, making the score, 3-5. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italia's goalkeeper Pascual Prejun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ruisko in the 75th minute of play forced La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Arturo Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over La Pantera Azulgrana's much stronger midfield.
