Christian Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Lalla in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Benedicto Lalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juan Sebastian Veron's Christian Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christian Firme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Horado went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rolando Urtsua hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tomás Abecia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Felo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Gonsalve hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Benedicto Lalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Vinicio Dayam got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Enzo Firme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juan Sebastian Veron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Walter Sanvicente kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Benedicto Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Marcelo Gonsalve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juan Sebastian Veron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DON RAMON 72 the free kick. A collision led to Juan Sebastian Veron getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Marcelo Gonsalve hit a great ball. Christian Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Horado in the 44th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amado Eguerdi during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute of the match Walter Sanvicente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Firme skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Lalla to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Walter Sanvicente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Firme, 1-4. Juan Sebastian Veron's Christian Firme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Juan Sebastian Veron from getting a goal against them. Enzo Firme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tomás Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Juan Sebastian Veron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Felo to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, DON RAMON 72's Domingos Gervaso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Firme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DON RAMON 72 reached it. In the 65th minute, Benedicto Lalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Firme. The goal made the score 1-5. Christian Firme came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by DON RAMON 72's Rolando Urtsua. But to his dismay, Rolando Urtsua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 89 minutes into the match, Marcial Felo notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of DON RAMON 72's Tomás Abecia. Tomás Abecia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Benedicto Lalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Firme, 2-8. When the match was over DON RAMON 72 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Juan Sebastian Veron throughout the match.
