Felix Rameriz charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Jerrold in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Lluques saved ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆ from getting behind. Lino Tonete took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sixto Lluques. Sixto Lluques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Lehior came free, but Sixto Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Lehior blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Lluques having to make a save. ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s Felix Rameriz got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Felix Rameriz off the ground. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. A collision led to ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gaudencio Unai hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Victoriano Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixto Lluques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Victoriano Jerrold put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sixto Lluques. If Ismael Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Medero was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s zone, Amadeo Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Lluques came out of the goal and Amadeo Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Benicio Urki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Congo Bongo's Lino Tonete made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Lluques was left in no man's land by his defense there! ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆ made a substitution. Severino Quintana replaced Gilberto Medero. The audience was convinced that Lino Tonete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Lluques was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s Rodolfo Inocente got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Ismael Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s zone, Ismael Lehior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Lluques came out of the goal and Ismael Lehior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79th play minutes Lino Tonete shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Sixto Lluques and just under the crossbar into goal. Ismael Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 85 minutes, Victoriano Jerrold made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s Sixto Lluques tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Aristides Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Jerrold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sixto Lluques made a huge save. After 91 minutes ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erasmo Sengrat who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Congo Bongo's Erasmo Sengrat to fire away a dangerous shot which Sixto Lluques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victoriano Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sixto Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, ☆ StarLighT ExTinCtioN ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Lino Tonete came free, but Sixto Lluques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Congo Bongo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
