Arnaldo Cedro was slow to take the kick. During this time Pan FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Pan FC's Kamal Hamilton-Maurice getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pan FC's Pascual Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 12 minutes, Fabian Telmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pan FC and the C.A Vientos Huracanados players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pan FC's Fabian Telmo got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Fortun in the 14th minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Fortun in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra saved Pan FC from getting behind. In the 18thth minute of the game Pascual Rito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Vientos Huracanados's Mauricio Gagriel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pan FC's Pascual Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean-Pierre De la Cuadra came out of the goal and Jacobo Garin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ildefonso Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Marcones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Telmo got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
