Dario Senio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Froila's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Apocalípticos & Caóticos booed when Platense es de Primera!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Platense es de Primera!! got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Fanuco. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Niceto Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Kaiet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Senio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Honorio Oso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Abascal. Honorio Oso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Abascal in the 37th minute. Manuel Ponciano struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Dario Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apocalípticos & Caóticos. Honorio Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Platense es de Primera!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Kaiet came free, but Dario Senio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jaime Pes took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Oso. Honorio Oso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
