In the 3rd minute Santo Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Lidman charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. ELMUÑE's Eleuterio Urko got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, David Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but David Lidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Bautista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Sanson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Fraco went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, David Lidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amador Bautista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Pastore, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd match minute, Characate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Bonifacio Admon made the kick off in the second half. Characate FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Manex in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Characate FC's corner Anselmo Manex fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amador Bautista quite easily take care of the ball.
