The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ★ IL TORO ★'s Osvaldo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Gotzon in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of ★ IL TORO ★ booed when Mudquin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Rico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Shel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mudquin FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eloy Padro hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Americo Fiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mudquin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★ IL TORO ★ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mudquin FC's Americo Fiz got a free kick in the 13th minute. Mudquin FC's Genaro Rico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mudquin FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, ★ IL TORO ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Bermund to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Mudquin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cesario came free, but Genaro Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match ★ IL TORO ★ got a corner. Mudquin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulino Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. ★ IL TORO ★'s Paulino Tartalo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Genaro Rico in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 20 minutes into the match, Mudquin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Cesario came free, but Genaro Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naohiro Takahara might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Rico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naohiro Takahara ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Genaro Rico made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Naohiro Takahara sent off a good shot on target. When Gerardo Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mudquin FC's protests and gave Gerardo Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. Gerardo Rivas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Arsenio Cesario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Genaro Rico, 1-0. After 40 played minutes ★ IL TORO ★ got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Froila. Naohiro Takahara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 45th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiburcio Gotzon was the one to do the kick off. Arsenio Cesario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Genaro Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Eloy Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Celino made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mudquin FC's Higinio Argenis. The audience was convinced that Marian Shel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Rico was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 61st match minute, Mudquin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Argenis to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, ★ IL TORO ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Padro came free, but Osvaldo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Americo Fiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genaro Rico came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by ★ IL TORO ★'s Naohiro Takahara. But to his dismay, Naohiro Takahara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Genaro Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naohiro Takahara in the 78th minute of play. Arsenio Cesario took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Rico. Genaro Rico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Cesario in the 87th minute of play forced Mudquin FC's goalkeeper Genaro Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Lohitzun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Lohitzun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Padro in the 95th minute. Mudquin FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
