After 3 played minutes C A U got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Hrabina. In the 6th minute, Nazar Colombo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C A U were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after 1984 Castelli Futbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Domingues took the corner. Leonides Domingues made a great header on C A U's corner, it was just that 1984 Castelli Futbol's Edu Atila managed to reach the ball for a save. C A U's Feliberto Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Ponce in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to 1984 Castelli Futbol getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cosme Sansone hit a great ball. Zachariasz Poteralski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Edu Atila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C A U. Venancio Urti hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. C A U's Feliberto Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Mercurio in the 33rd minute of play. Antonio Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Feliberto Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Lino Bizi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Feliberto Gonsalvo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 40th minute, Zachariasz Poteralski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C A U fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, C A U's Venancio Urti got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Feliberto Gonsalvo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Mercurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachariasz Poteralski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of C A U booed when 1984 Castelli Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Sansone didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Edu Atila got control of the ball when Zachariasz Poteralski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Feliberto Gonsalvo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C A U made a substitution. Benigno Bihar replaced Leopoldo Senin. Feliberto Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Mercurio in the 71st minute of the match. Feliberto Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 80 minutes of play, C A U's Kağan Duro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edu Atila was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Cesare Chiarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Gonsalvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Chiarelli in the 85th minute of play.
