But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Brito couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Oswaldo Mills mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conakry FC and the U. de Tarapacá players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Conakry FC's Oswaldo Mills got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes, U. de Tarapacá's José Marcelo Maige shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mervin Frost came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U. de Tarapacá reached it. In the 8th minute, Baudelio Abello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Baudelio Abello hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes, Conakry FC's Oswaldo Mills shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Conakry FC reached it. Mervin Frost made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when José Marcelo Maige sent off a good shot on target. Mervin Frost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Marcelo Maige, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Jarvis Sneed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conakry FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarvis Sneed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kristofer Alley charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristofer Alley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Conakry FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristofer Alley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, José Marcelo Maige ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mervin Frost was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 29th minute Jarvis Sneed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Diaz Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quentín Saravia got free with Mervin Frost in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes, José Marcelo Maige made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Conakry FC's Mervin Frost tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alam Brito hit a great ball. With a little luck, Conakry FC's Mervin Frost got control of the ball when José Marcelo Maige tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute Jarvis Sneed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Diaz Montero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Marcelo Maige fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mervin Frost having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarvis Sneed made a kick off. Timothy Ledbetter hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Otis Hathaway was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. Otis Hathaway kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 minutes of play, U. de Tarapacá's Quentín Saravia made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mervin Frost was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Uriel Diaz Montero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Marcelo Maige fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mervin Frost having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Oswaldo Mills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Marcelo Maige in the 67th minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mervin Frost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentín Saravia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game José Marcelo Maige who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conakry FC's Mervin Frost was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Marcelo Maige in the 72nd minute of play forced Conakry FC's goalkeeper Mervin Frost to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, José Marcelo Maige hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Quentín Saravia hit a great ball. José Marcelo Maige struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Mervin Frost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U. de Tarapacá. Timothy Ledbetter kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Conakry FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because U. de Tarapacá had won, even though Conakry FC had held more of the ball.
