Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Jayson Slaughter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fletcher Lund went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Cory Kirkland sped through Los Gordos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jayson Slaughter. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cory Kirkland hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Mete Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayson Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jayson Slaughter came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Cory Kirkland. But to his dismay, Cory Kirkland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cory Kirkland in the 19th minute of play forced Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mete Ferro took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jayson Slaughter. Jayson Slaughter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Mete Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Cory Kirkland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mete Ferro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jayson Slaughter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Los Gordos's zone, Fletcher Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jayson Slaughter came out of the goal and Fletcher Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenic Biggs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Gol having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Ferro in the 35th minute of play forced Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Cory Kirkland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jayson Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mete Ferro in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jayson Slaughter saved Los Gordos from getting behind. In the 42nd minute, Mete Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenic Biggs made a kick off. Jayson Slaughter made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Mete Ferro sent off a good shot on target. Cory Kirkland might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jayson Slaughter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cory Kirkland ran back to his position shaking his head. Jayson Slaughter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cory Kirkland's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Fletcher Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jayson Slaughter was a little too slow when Cory Kirkland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-9. Cory Kirkland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. Jayson Slaughter stood somewhat misplaced when Cory Kirkland came free in front of goal and shot 0-10 to the left of him in the 74 minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-12 when Mete Ferro sped through Los Gordos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jayson Slaughter. Domenic Biggs hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter got control of the ball when Mete Ferro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Los Gordos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New England Minas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
