Sportivo Chupeño's Goizeder Abeita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Romulo Amestoy but with some difficulty. The supporters of Sportivo Chupeño booed when Atlético Grau Piura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sayvion Herencia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveiro Sibila in the 17th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Hipolito Abad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Oliveiro Sibila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Grau Piura's Gaspar Yanes got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agustin Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveiro Sibila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Avellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveiro Sibila in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Abar. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveiro Sibila in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Oliveiro Sibila made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Oihenarte Abalos hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Hipolito Abad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Amestoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Chupeño's zone, Oliveiro Sibila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Avellaneda came out of the goal and Oliveiro Sibila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. King Reyes hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliveiro Sibila in the 95th minute of play forced Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Agustin Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sportivo Chupeño's Agustin Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliveiro Sibila in the 97th minute of play. Sportivo Chupeño's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
