In the last second Lavallén Roces throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dobromir Latocha in the 7thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xulio Arvelo in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xulio Arvelo was slow to take the kick. During this time PAJARRACO FC's players had a chance to rest. Marcos Lustosa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Francisco Polla's late challenge caught a PAJARRACO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braian Rodríguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lavallén Roces made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, PAJARRACO FC's goalkeeper Lavallén Roces had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zhang Cheng Ping. Braian Rodríguez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lavallén Roces came out and tried to block the shot, but Braian Rodríguez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Zhang Cheng Ping got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, 于鹰建 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAJARRACO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 于鹰建 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Francisco Polla put in a rough tackle. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV:s Ladislao Mazurkiewicz showed great skill when he stopped Xulio Arvelo:s penalty. After some careless play in the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV defense, Xulio Arvelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Mazurkiewicz. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Mazurkiewicz should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dobromir Latocha made the kick off in the second half. Zhang Cheng Ping fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lavallén Roces having to interfere. Braian Rodríguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lavallén Roces having to make a save. When Dobromir Latocha came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Latocha couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got control of the ball when 于鹰建 tried to sneak it across the goal line.
