Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rubio Guardia kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes in the game Gregg Lipscomb did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kermit Regan. The throw-in from Gregg Lipscomb in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Olimpia's Roberto Bueldi. Simon Rainey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubio Guardia in the 6th minute of the match. Club Olimpia were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Flagstaff's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fernando Duarte took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubio Guardia in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Rainey saved Flagstaff from getting behind. After some careless play in the Flagstaff defense, Rubio Guardia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Rainey. The Flagstaff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Rainey should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Rubio Guardia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Olimpia's Rubio Guardia pulled a muscle in his back after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Archie Adams hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Roberto Bueldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Bueldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Flagstaff's Dane Moser got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Luís Fernando Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Club Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fernando Duarte couldn't finish the play. Luís Fernando Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Simon Rainey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fernando Duarte didn't quite understand what happened when in the 44 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Luís Fernando Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kermit Regan was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Luís Fernando Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpia's Jayvier Esquide got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A beautiful save bye Club Olimpia's goalie prevented a goal. Club Olimpia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
