When Eli Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Eli Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. Eli Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Real Madrid's attentive Frutos Betzanos managed to snatch the ball when Roderigo Villamizar made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Real Madrid's Santikurtz Paza got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Carqueja's Harri Isurieta got a free kick in the 12th minute. Gombal Retana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mogel Izcaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Santikurtz Paza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selatse Guijano having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santikurtz Paza in the 17th minute of play forced Carqueja's goalkeeper Selatse Guijano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Henrique Lampez fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Henrique Lampez a yellow card for diving instead. Henrique Lampez kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by James Lucena in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Madrid's Frutos Betzanos. Carqueja's Selatse Guijano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Carqueja from getting a goal against them. Henrique Lampez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selatse Guijano having to interfere. The throw-in from Harri Isurieta in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Madrid's Frutos Betzanos. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 54 played minutes Carqueja got a freekick which was hit by Harri Isurieta. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Rami Tolentin got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gombal Retana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eudoxio Pumar. After 64 minutes of play, Real Madrid's Santikurtz Paza made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selatse Guijano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carqueja's Selatse Guijano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santikurtz Paza in the 68th minute of play. Gombal Retana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mogel Izcaray in the 69th minute of the match. When Carqueja's Henrico Montaña in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Madrid's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Eli Alvarez hit a great ball. Gombal Retana made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Eudoxio Pumar sent off a good shot on target. Santikurtz Paza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selatse Guijano having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Henrico Montaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
