With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Proca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mountain West FC defense, Theodore Cagle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Holman. The Mountain West FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Holman should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Mountain West FC booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Donahue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Calvin Cayla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Proca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Theodore Cagle. In the 94th minute, Recolta Alamor's Chris Bateman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roy Holman. Roy Holman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 97th minute Norman Donnelly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Recolta Alamor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
