Nejat Ersavaş was a little too slow when Korhan Balıkçıoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. ESPİYESPOR's Nejat Ersavaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save ESPİYESPOR from getting a goal against them. Gökcan Özakan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Nejat Ersavaş made a huge save. Arda Ozan Turaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seyhun Onursoy hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Dündar Yağın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamit Diriğ. Kültepe Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dündar Yağın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Süreyya Özsungur's late challenge caught a Kültepe Spor Kulübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Süreyya Özsungur helped the player get up and apologised. Süreyya Özsungur hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Abdulbaki Aktaş sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nejat Ersavaş skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dündar Yağın to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ESPİYESPOR's Kıvanç Gökdoğan got a free kick in the 51st minute. Hamit Diriğ made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ahmet Emir Vezir sent off a good shot on target. Nejat Ersavaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korhan Balıkçıoğlu in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Kültepe Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Necip Fazıl Aşık hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Yağın in the 68th minute of play forced Kültepe Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Hamit Diriğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, ESPİYESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Zekeriya Ulubay came free, but Nejat Ersavaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Zekeriya Ulubay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
