In the 2nd minute, Abdullah Atik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 3 minutes into the game, Çetin Elçibey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newells Old Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seferihisar İdman Gücü the free kick. Çetin Elçibey hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Özbek Şanalp got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ulu Özkutsal hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Zülfikar Fırıncı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Öztürk Akay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Kerim Sulhi came free, but Zülfikar Fırıncı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Abdullah Atik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zülfikar Fırıncı. Newells Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdullah Atik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Zülfikar Fırıncı, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orçun Baloğlu in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onurhan Seylab saved Seferihisar İdman Gücü from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Orçun Baloğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newells Old Boys and the Seferihisar İdman Gücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seferihisar İdman Gücü booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orçun Baloğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zülfikar Fırıncı made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Abdullah Atik sent off a good shot on target. Öztürk Akay struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seferihisar İdman Gücü. After 42 played minutes Newells Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Mevlüt Zeyrek. Abdullah Atik charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdullah Atik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdullah Atik kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Onurhan Seylab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mevlüt Zeyrek in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdullah Atik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullah Atik came free, but Zülfikar Fırıncı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Abdullah Atik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zülfikar Fırıncı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Öztürk Akay, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Kerim Sulhi might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zülfikar Fırıncı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kerim Sulhi ran back to his position shaking his head. Öztürk Akay scored 2-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zülfikar Fırıncı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Abdullah Atik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newells Old Boys's Zülfikar Fırıncı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Seferihisar İdman Gücü were awarded a corner. Gencer Benlioğlu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Seferihisar İdman Gücü's Hadi Balcan to fire away a dangerous shot which Zülfikar Fırıncı despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Newells Old Boys's Çetin Elçibey got a free kick in the 67th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencer Benlioğlu in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Abdullah Atik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seferihisar İdman Gücü fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zülfikar Fırıncı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Akay in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahit Birdal in the 76th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Zülfikar Fırıncı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencer Benlioğlu took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zülfikar Fırıncı. Zülfikar Fırıncı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 81st minute, Öztürk Akay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zülfikar Fırıncı was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Öztürk Akay struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seferihisar İdman Gücü. Erdoğan Ongu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullah Atik came free, but Zülfikar Fırıncı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newells Old Boys's Zülfikar Fırıncı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özbek Şanalp in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Kerim Sulhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zülfikar Fırıncı was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Seferihisar İdman Gücü players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
