After 14 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Hodyl. In the 17th minute, Stefan Hodyl made a precise shot to the right of Michel Bergendahl. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 33 minutes, Stefan Hodyl made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Michel Bergendahl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel Bergendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Hodyl in the 37th minute of play. Jonathan Rudberg's late challenge caught a Arsenal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Rudberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Hockeysnubbarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Rudberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Stefan Hodyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Bergendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arsenal FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Josefsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Karl Göransson notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Michel Bergendahl. Michel Bergendahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Michel Bergendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Hodyl in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Stefan Hodyl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Bergendahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. When Sven-Erik Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Sven-Erik Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hockeysnubbarnas BK booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Wiklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Bergendahl stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Hodyl came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 68 minute. A well placed Stefan Hodyl short distance shot in the 71st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Matthias Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Löfgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Bergendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michel Bergendahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Hodyl in the 81st minute. Michel Bergendahl came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal FC's Stefan Hodyl. But to his dismay, Stefan Hodyl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Vilhelm Ek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Möller having to make a save. With his leg Michel Bergendahl managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Arsenal FC's Stefan Hodyl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arsenal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
