The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Fernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Albäck having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Asklöv got free with Markus Albäck in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Nilsson got free with Markus Albäck in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Nye's Markus Albäck got control of the ball when Mats Asklöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Nilsson in the 9th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Sune Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Albäck was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Sven Uter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sven Uter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Sven Uter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Nilsson in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Sven Uter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Eleven Nation Army's Sune Nilsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Sune Nilsson scored 4-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Albäck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Nye's Markus Albäck got control of the ball when Mats Asklöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Mats Asklöv put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Mats Asklöv sent off a good shot on target. Nye's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Sune Nilsson scored to the left of an out of position Markus Albäck, making the score, 6-0. After 39 played minutes Sven Uter rounded Nye's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-0. In the 42nd minute Sven Uter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes, Henric Nordström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nye and the Eleven Nation Army players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Nye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Björklund hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Nation Army's Sven Uter. But to his dismay, Sven Uter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Asklöv in the 60th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Nilsson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Markus Albäck. Markus Albäck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Uter in the 64th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nye getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Joakim Wiberg hit a great ball. Sune Nilsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Markus Albäck. Nye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mats Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Sven Uter made a precise shot to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Nye's Markus Albäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Nilsson in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Sven Uter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Markus Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 82nd minute, Sven Uter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mats Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Asklöv in the 85th minute of play. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Nilsson in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Sune Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Markus Albäck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Uter went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score.
