In the 5th minute, Måns Bergqvist made a precise shot to the right of Ove Kullander. AC Qslig's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Måns Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Kullander having to interfere. Kristian Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Stenqvist having to interfere. Kristian Benet kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Ingvar Lindblom fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Qslig's protests and gave Ingvar Lindblom a yellow card for diving instead. AC Qslig's Jens-Erik Lövkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Jens-Erik Lövkvist made a precise shot to the right of Egon Stenqvist. Amaranthus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Amaranthus's zone, Rolf Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Stenqvist came out of the goal and Rolf Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Benet in the 40th minute of play forced Amaranthus's goalkeeper Egon Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amaranthus! The referee gave AC Qslig a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Kråk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Amaranthus's Egon Stenqvist. 1-2. Birger Jespersson kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Måns Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ove Kullander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amaranthus. Jens-Erik Lövkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Egon Stenqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Egon Stenqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Amaranthus fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Amaranthus's Birger Mellbad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, AC Qslig's Rolf Holmgren got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Lövkvist got free with Egon Stenqvist in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Amaranthus getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Snorre Knærkegaard hit a great ball. The Amaranthus supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Qslig's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Qslig.
