Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Filip Nordkvist made the kick off and thus started the match. Höglunda IK's Jerry Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Bergqvist in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Fredrik Nykvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höglunda IK and the Leeds United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fredrik Nykvist kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Kennet Bergqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Höglunda IK's Jerry Bergström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Leeds United FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höglunda IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliott Levander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulf Håkansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Elliott Levander made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Nordkvist got free with Elliott Levander in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kennet Bergqvist took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerry Bergström. Jerry Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 26th minute, Kennet Bergqvist made a precise shot to the right of Jerry Bergström. Höglunda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Filip Nordkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Bergqvist came free, but Jerry Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Skark during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Göran Skark got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jerry Bergström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kennet Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Kennet Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Kennet Bergqvist notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Höglunda IK's Jerry Bergström. Jerry Bergström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Fredrik Nykvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Levander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Elliott Levander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Nykvist in the 55th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Höglunda IK's corner Filip Nordkvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elliott Levander quite easily take care of the ball. Elliott Levander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Nordkvist in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Allan Odin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leeds United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höglunda IK the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Allan Odin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Höglunda IK's Filip Nordkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Nordkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Ulf Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Leeds United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Nordkvist came free, but Elliott Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fredrik Nykvist hit a great ball. Jerry Bergström made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the game, Kennet Bergqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerry Bergström. Kennet Bergqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. If Filip Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leeds United FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
