The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vilgot Lundhberg's late challenge caught a Brandbergen Bears's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Frykberg in the 15th minute of play forced Brandbergen Bears's goalkeeper Patrick Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Eriksson in the 17th minute of the match. When Bloodthirsty FC's Bror Eriksson in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brandbergen Bears's goalie prevented a goal. When Dick Westerstrand fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brandbergen Bears's protests and gave Dick Westerstrand a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Brandbergen Bears got a freekick which was hit by Dick Westerstrand. Bloodthirsty FC's Vilgot Lundhberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lennart Esbjörnsson, made in the 30th minute of the game. Brandbergen Bears's Folke Asmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Dick Dahlkvist. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Börge Sjöberg hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

60 minutes into the game, Folke Asmundsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. 何旭银 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brandbergen Bears's Patrick Gallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Brandbergen Bears from getting a goal against them. Vilgot Lundhberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Vilgot Lundhberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Folke Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 何旭银 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Frykberg's late challenge caught a Brandbergen Bears's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Frykberg. 81 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Glanselius came free, but 何旭银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Ove Hellbom hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bloodthirsty FC made a substitution. Anton Lund replaced Dick Dahlkvist.
