Juoksengi's Billy Oja managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Henrik Nordlund in the 42 minute of the game. Roland Lindström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Åberg's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Wiberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Roland Lindström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Brodin in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Åberg in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Lindström saved Juoksengi from getting behind. Roland Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Per Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Lindström.
